Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TrendUp AI, Inc. collects, uses, and protects information when you use Opensteer, including our websites, hosted agent workspaces, APIs, and related services.
Opensteer is built for agent workflows that may involve browsers, terminals, files, third-party sites, and connected accounts. You control what you connect and what data your agents can access.
1. Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider details, workspace membership, billing identifiers, and support communications.
We collect service data you provide or generate, including prompts, agent instructions, workspace files, browser session metadata, logs, API requests, connected account metadata, usage events, and outputs.
We collect technical data such as device, browser, IP address, cookies, diagnostics, performance data, and security events.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, operate, troubleshoot, bill for, and improve Opensteer.
We also use information to authenticate users, provision workspaces, enforce usage limits, process payments, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Connected services and agent activity
When you connect third-party accounts or direct agents to interact with websites and services, Opensteer processes the information needed to perform those actions.
Third-party services have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for how third parties process information once it is transmitted to them at your direction.
4. Sharing information
We share information with service providers that help us host infrastructure, authenticate users, process payments, send notifications, monitor reliability, provide support, and operate Opensteer.
We may share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Opensteer, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business operations.
Retention periods may vary by data type, workspace settings, plan, legal requirements, and operational needs.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials, API keys, and connected accounts protected.
If you believe your account or workspace has been compromised, contact us promptly at support@opensteer.com.
7. Your choices
You can update account settings, disconnect provider accounts, delete or archive workspace resources where supported, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information.
Some requests may be limited by security, legal, billing, abuse-prevention, or operational requirements.
8. International use
Opensteer is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide notice as appropriate.
